Delete your data
You can remove what Social Jen holds about you at any time, in two sizes: disconnect one platform, or close your account and erase everything. Neither needs anyone's permission and neither takes more than a minute. Full detail of what we hold is in the privacy policy.
1. Disconnect one platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
Disconnecting removes the access token for that platform from our encrypted vault straight away. Social Jen can no longer post to that account, and nothing from it is kept.
- Sign in at app.socialjen.lmctech.co.uk.
- Open Accounts in the sidebar.
- Under Connected accounts, press Disconnect next to the account.
If you remove Social Jen from inside Facebook or Instagram instead (Settings, then Apps and websites, then Social Jen, then Remove), Meta revokes the token at its end. The copy we hold stops working immediately and is cleared by the next account check, or you can email us and we will remove it the same day.
2. Delete your whole account
Email info@lmctech.co.uk from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my Social Jen account. We will confirm by reply and erase the account within 7 days. Erasure removes:
- your login, email address, password hash and sessions;
- every connected-account token, for every platform;
- your campaigns, drafts, sources, calendar, products, listings and settings, including any AI key you saved;
- media you uploaded, and any copies in our delivery storage;
- your entries in our encrypted backups, at the next backup rotation (at most 12 months for the monthly set).
What stays: posts that were already published to your social accounts live on those platforms under your control, not ours. Records we are legally required to keep (for example invoices, if you have paid us) are kept for the statutory period and nothing else.
Data from Facebook and Instagram. The only Meta data Social Jen stores is the access token needed to publish posts you approve, the name and id of the Page or professional account you chose, and the ids of the posts it published for you. Disconnecting deletes the token; deleting your account deletes all of it. We never read your messages, followers, insights or friends.
